video cable for audio use

Could I use video cable (rca) for audio purpose?

Yes. Video cable is supposed to be 75 Ohm resistance to meet a standard. All the video cables I am aware of are of the same type: center copper lead with outer braided shielding. This type should work fine for audio and provide some shielding from interference. You may do better with other audio cables, but the video ones are compatible.
Just one more supporting opinion. Back when 2ch. dacs were becoming popular Audioquest 2ch.ic cable was found able to to work as a digital linc and digital and video are the same so it would seem they work for either purpose.
