I live in the Netherlands and for many years I am
a very happy owner of the Verdier nouvelle platine.
It is installed with a superb Schröder Model II tonearm and very recently with the extraordinory Sound-Smith Surrusso Cartridge. You can't go better than this. I am 65 years old and listened to various combi's with the NP.
I used to have it battery powered, but unfortunately I have decided to sell this unit. Can you please tell me what your findings are with the battery operated NP? Also
let me know the brend of your battery unit. It looks very
good.
