Vecteur L4.2 as Transport?

Anybody hear the L4.2 vs the L4 used as transport? I own the L4 and just had the luck to purchase the L4.2. I'm using the L4 as transport (with the ANK 3.1 DAC), and it sounds absolutely amazing. 

Will the L4.2 used as transport sound even better? Or is that player's improvement primarily in its own DAC?
