Van Den Hul Optocoupler II authenticity???

I recently purchased this cable via eBay. Being a curious sort – that and the fact that I got a really good deal on the (new) cable – I did an internet inquiry and found that there have been documented instances of counterfeit Van Den Hul products being sold on eBay.

Does anyone own this cable? I would be interested in comparing the physical description of yours and the one I just purchased (i.e.: color, logos/markings, rigidity, diameter, etc.).

I think most counterfeit cables are power cords and speaker cables.

I'd have a very close look at the lenses. They should be perfect. The Optocoupler does look a bit cheap up close, especially the plugs. The white-on-red lettering is dead straight though.
