Using Subwoofer With Joseph Audio Pulsars

Does anyone use a subwoofer with the Pulsars? I have a pair of them (the non-graphene version), and have a JL Audio e110 subwoofer available that I used with my old N804s. It seems that running the subwoofer in high pass (by using the its internal xover) defeats the Pulsars’ infinite slope xover, which is a big feature of the speakers. Also, because I’m running a fully balanced BAT preamp and power amp, to run in high pass mode, the RCA line out of the e110 would require an adapter into the amp, which defeats the fully balanced set up. I’ve tried running the speakers "full range" and simply doubling the bass through the sub, but it’s no great shakes since the Pulsars have great bass as-is. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, and whether I should just bag the sub in this particular configuration. Thanks for your help.
