It is a good idea and certainly won't hurt anything. I'd give it a try and see what you think. The price seems right to experiment. Galvanic isolation is almost always a good thing.
Using medical ethernet isolator (MI 1005) for Network streamer ?

I have an Ultra-Rendu which I used with an Sbooster power supply. The streamer is currently connected to the Gigabit network (wire connection). I wonder if I can improve the Sound Quality further with a Network Isolator such as the MI 1005 which people normally use in medical devices.
If any one has experience with such devices, please let me know. I would like to hear about your opinion before trying those devices.
