Using cooling fan on Mark Levinson 532h

I have a Mark Levinson 532h amp and I have a cooling fan not being used I was using own my previous Rotel amp which would get hot. I know the Mark Levinson 532h has very good internal thermal protection in place, is there any benefit using a separate cooling fan ? Will it sound and perform best at temperature it runs at without cooling fan ??. The cooling fan is an Aircom 3 fan unit only about 2 inches tall that is programmable to turn on at temperature you choose it senses the amp at. Works great.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Always good to keep it in a cool environment.
Looking at this, it would be better if the amp got the cool air flow through the bottom vents, as hot air rises and would then exit out the top vents.
