Using analog intended PC for a digital source

I have bought several Signal/Element PCs lately. I have been looking for a decent priced Signal/Element PC for my digital components (DAC & CD player) but keep missing the ones that come up for sale here.

Is it OK to use a analog intended PC for a digital source? Or is the added shielding of the digital intended cords that much better?
