Used Emm Labs 6/Phillips vs modded Denon 3910?

Has anyone compared "old" Emmlabs vs mod APL or Exemplar 3910/2900. There are now used Emmlabs on the market so the price difference is not so huge anymore, But which is better.
I have no chance here in Europe to listen to either player so any advice will be apriciated.
