USB outboard sound card comment

I've reviewed the technical specs for over 20 of these boxes all different brands. Not one of them indicates whether their USB interface is 1.0 or 2.0. Big difference. What's with the "sound card" world?

dshoaf Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 18 posts 11-03-2005 at 07:10am Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete I, too, did research when I bought a USB-based sound device - M-Audio Audiophile in my case - and discovered that the worse problem was contention on the USB bus rather than an issue with 1.0/2.0. I ended up getting another USB controller card for the old Dell I use and isolated the M-Audio on it. This has worked well now for over 2 years. Cheers, David
