US Customs charges for electronics bought from Japan

I wonder if anybody knows what might be US Customs charges and fees for a $3000 Luxman CD player bought from Japan via ebay. Thank you.
Japan used to be a great spot for importing the high end stuff, for many years prices were favorable to currency exchange
