I would like to keep the red book 2ch audio quality of the UDP-1 but get better video perf and true SACD resolution. What is next? Esoteric DV50, 60 or UX3? any other brand, wanna keep pricing used below $4,000.
There is a Deluxe version of the UDP-1. I've read -- and heard -- good things about that unit. Perhaps that would be a good upgrade for you? If I'm not mistaken, it's some $800 installed by the good folk at McCormack.
