upgrading an HDTV receiver

Hi,

I live in the Netherlands where HDTV is mainly through cable TV (not satellite nor optical fiber) and I have
an HDTV cable receiver Samsung model DCB-H360R.

I found a modder in the UK: the modifications suggested would include upgrades to the SMPS power supply, DC regulation and general decoupling of data processing and signal and Deep Cryogenic Processing (DCT).

Any one with experience concerning upgrades to an HDTV cable receiver ?
