Upgrade to Audio Research d130 from D100?

Guys, I have a audio research d100 and a sp5 preamp. I wanted more low end bass so I purchased a rel T7 subwoofer which is on the way. Would I hear a difference with an upgrade to a D130 Audio Research amp. 16 years newer than the D100. My speakers are Pinnacle PN8+. Thanks, Mike
