Upgrade squeezebox duet to touch?

Have been very happy for several years with the duet digital out to pacific valve upgraded lite audio dac 60. Considering upgrading the duet to a touch but am wondering if there will be a noticable improvement in sound quality.
System is Marantz sr6006 in direct mode, bryston 3bst amp, Gallo 3.1 speakers.
I have spent some time researching but find very little comparing the duet digital out to the touch digital. If I were to make the switch what should I expect in sound quality differences?
