Up-scaling DVD player that responds to mods

Hi,

I'm looking for a very cheap DVD player of the up-scaling type to modify. I'd like to find one that responds well and is easy to do the work on. The reason why I ask, is because I'd like to work on a cheaper used DVD player replacing the caps and resistors and other mods.
