Universal player for MCB Xport

I just got MSB Platinum DAC III and need a player as a transport to upgrate it with MSB Xport for HiRez playback(SACD, DVD-A). MSB says - "This upgrade replaces all the audio processing in the player and completely replaces the clocks and clocking of data." Taking this into consideration what player would you recommend?
Do I really need something like Esoteric SA-60, or it is overkill, and anything like Denon can do the job to read a disk and send signal to MSB?
