If you want to make a major upgrade, not a sideways move, try Burson Audio discrete opamps. They are are unity gain stable, available in single or dual 8 pin DIP format and are so much better than IC opamps in so many ways I can not even begin to describe.

They take a while to burn-in, then after about 100 hours powered-on, they "bloom".
