Everyone has their own set of prefernces,but to me, this is not much of a competition... The Linbrooks go lower, have better drivers, resolution, midrange and highs (less fatiguing), and have a much better soundstage width and depth. That said, the Linbrooks also cost quite a bit more than the N805s...
Maybe a better comparison would be the Taylo Reference Monitors (that usually sell new for $1600/pr.). I still would pick the Taylos over the N805s, but the "race" would be more competitive.
