Tweeter upgrade for Libratone Lounge

Wondered if there is an opportunity to improve the sound by upgrading the drivers in the Libratone Lounge? The upper midrange to high end seems uneven in brightness which comes across as lacking some musicality, often seeming thin. 

Alternatively, there is room to amount an additional set of tweeters firing outward in the tweeters' open cloth enclosure. I suspect this could enhance the sound since these speakers are not positioned for critical listening, but rather for ambient room music. I also have no idea how they would be connected electronically, though maybe you just connect in parallel?

The current drivers are:

Tweeter: 2 x Airborne Mode RT-40011(3.2Ω nominal 20W stated on side of magnet) Looks like the l RT-4001 for which there's a spec sheet here
Midrange: 2 x SB Acoustics SB12PAC25-3-LBR  (4Ω 30W max 60W FS: 64Hz nominal) Details for this custom driver are here.
Bass: 1 x 8" LBR-C001-04  50W (7" as measured). Not sure who makes this one.
