Sound Improvement Disc (SID) #15 is for top loaders. Damps the the disc and also prevents laser defractions. More focus and depth.
Tweaks for a top-loader?
I have the Electrocompaniet EMC-1UP. After seeing the spider clamp, I've become interested in the supposed improvements.
My question: Does anyone know of good tweaks for a top-loading CD player?
My hunch is that maybe the little puck that holds the CD onto the spindle now could be improved. But, it could come at a cost if the tweak is too heavy and impedes the spindle.
Any thoughts?
