springs are fine, sota uses them, i know theyre gone but they worked! you can enhance things by using layers of packing bubbles with a board on top. the sandboxes from brightstar and their air suspended things are valid.
Turntable Springs!
What do good turntables use for vibration damping? I have a 80's turntable in the Linn Sondek mold, which is damped by four springs. Being a newcomer to the vinyl format I would be grateful if someone could let me know if springs are any good, or whther more modern turntables use more advanced damping!
