Turntable Rebuild Project FONS CQ 30

I am considering bringing back an old Fons CQ-30 turntable to life. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on lubrication of the DC motor in the unit. I am sure after 25 years the bearing is dry.

On another note, is their any maintenance to do on an SME series 2 improved arm. Can the interconnect on the arm be upgraded in any way? Very cheap RCA connectors and cable.

The unit has been stuffed away in a closet and I am getting the itch for a Winter project.
