Interesting. But I can't find the tube on Viva Tubes's website. What is "KR"? I can find the Brimars in general, are these the ones you speak of?

I think I would like to first get a round of the 6 preamp tubes. What do you recommend for those?

So which should I experiment with first? Sublime, super wide sound stage, dripping golden. Midrange…. Vocals… acoustics… jaw dropping…

I am trying gold lion kt 77’s for the power tubes, bugle boys for the gain tubes…. 
 

question: which are the “signal tubes”? 
 

I may experiment with new mullards or tung sol military spec on those….

Hi,

So I have switched between the bugle boys and the new mullards in the gain tube socket, and I was surprised that the mullards initially sounded to me clearer and more present.
 

would the older bugle boys require some time to break in?
