Tube rolling your Linear Tube Audio Zotl10/Zotl 40

The Zotl 10 and 40 share the same 12AT7 and 12AU7  tubes in the gain stages. I believe brnads can vary depending on whats available at the time of the build
The 40 uses NOS Mullard EL34 so not sure you can do better than that.
The 10 uses Genelex gold lion EL84

As anyone had any success ?

In my ZOTL40 the best NOS tubes are Mullard EL34 or Amperex EL34, I also Have a NOS quad of Genelex Gold Lion KT77 that is in this top tier.

The best new production tubes I’ve used are Sophia Electric EL34ST

After playing with 7062s for the line stage I settled on 6085s (in place of both the ATs and AUs). At first I thought the extension of the 6085 overshadowed the miss a bit but with room treatment that disappeared. Reflector 6p14-Ev in place of the genelex 84s also made a big improvement (and a cheaper one)
