Tube rolling signal tubes on Audio Research I/50

I just got an Audio Research I/50 integrated.

Sounds great with Sonus Faber Olympica I's

With Focal Kanta's sounds a bit bright.  Not surprising as the Kanta's are a bit bright and the amp is pretty neutral, but I  have preferred the Kanta's with other amps. (Raven Audio Osprey and Blackhawk)

Has anybody tried tube rolling the signal tubes on the I/50?

Did it make any difference?

It comes with 6922 JJ's.  I have tried JJ's in other amps and while they were ok vintage tubes were MUCH better.

Thanks

Look for dimpled disc getter 6dj8's/ECC88's from Mullard Mitchum (sp?) or Blackburn plants (by far the FATTEST sounding 6922 type that I am aware of) with a nod toward Blackburn.

These are later production tubes (late 60's into the very early 70's).

You need either one or a matched pair depending  on what the tubes function as.
