I recently purchased a used Janus from another Audiogoner and was curious as to the tubes that other have found to be "better" than stock factory tubes for both line and phono sections.
I've a Calypso and have had good results with 60s UK Mullard ecc83 and cryo Jan Phillips 5751, currently trying Sylvania triple mica, black plate 5751 which are also good.
