Tube preamp for my Bryston 7B3

Hi Goners...

I'm currently running Bryston 7B3 Amps from a Bryston BP26 Preamp to Focal Sopra 2's.  VERY HAPPY with things but thinking of adding (not replacing my BP26) a tube preamp just for that occasional sound change we get. Has anyone experimented with different tube preamps for their Bryston 7B3?  I realize the Bryston has a low 7.5K ohm input and may be tough to find a good tube match.

tnx...2bz

I use a Bryston 14b3 ss amp with a 6sn7 tube based deHavilland Ultraverve 3  preamp with wonderful results (the deHavilland has been upgraded with Dueland caps and wire). I have B&W 802d3 speakers.  The Bryston pushes these speakers with ease and accuracy and the deHavilland adds warmth and breathiness. Bass is deep and snappy.  I use a Purist silver clad copper 20th anniversary interconnect from my Holo May DAC to the deHavilland for sharpness and clarity. The I use an all copper Cardas clear reflection interconnect from the deHavilland to the Bryston. I use Purist 20th anniversary Purist speaker cables. My music sounds pretty incredible. I am 77 and have been into quality audio for over 60 years. I have heard lots of systems. When I listen to my system I often shake my head at how wonderful it sounds.
