Tube Power Amps for Phono Stage with vol. control

My PS Audio GCPH phono stage is currently hooked up to a 30 Wpc Cary SLI-50. I understand that I could eliminate the preamp stage, and just use a power amp, since the phonostage has a volume control. Would anybody suggest alternatives for a tube power amp in this set up? Speakers are 89db. Budget max 1K used or new. Thanks in advance.
