As a Morricone fan I object. his orchestrations are what makes him; him.---But, hey I love cello as well.

If you've been looking for a very well recorded CD with cello and orchestra pick up Yo-Yo Ma's recent release entitled YO-YO MA PLAYS ENNIO MORRICONE. It will reveal the best mid and upper range capabilities of your system and is extremely listenable. Track 17, the main theme from Marco Polo is especially enjoyable. Good listening.
