True; they don't need an amp made to deliver gobs of current into a highly reactive load, but the Tritons are very resolving speakers that reveal differences in the quality of upstream electronics. That's why I suggested the Rogue integrated amp.

I don't see much sense in separates in an easy to drive speaker with a powered woofer.
