I used the TriMax in my system for about 8 years. I only used them in triode configuration and they were excellent. They are also extremely reliable and the 807 tubes last forever - they are transmission tubes and very rugged. I only got rid of my TriMax because I wanted to move to Single Ended Triode and a more efficient speaker.
