I just don't know the difference between a Transport and a CD Player ? What's a DAC and when would you need one ? I'm obviously new to High End Audio and need a little direction.
The Balanced Audio Technology VK-D5 and the Meridian 508.24 are both excellent CD Integrated players. The Meridian 508.20 on the used market is another option. At this point in time, I suggest you consider an integrated CD Player (all in one box and not 2). Good luck..
