Transport screws for Madrigal Proceed CD player

We have to ship a Madrigal Proceed cd player and don't have the original transport screws. Can any machine screw be used instead without damaging the unit?

justlisten Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 489 posts 01-10-2008 at 11:30pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete I was in the same boat as you and took the player to a local ACE hardware and fitted some screws which turned out ok....Best thing to do is the bring the unit with the cover off to a hardware store and try various ones. You will be able to see which ones lock/hold the transport in place. one thing for sure, Do not ship without locking the transport.
