I used Pioneer DV-626 with excelelnt results. His little brother DV-525 can be found under $80 nowadays. A lot of mods available.
Transport recommendation for MSB Link III
My digital setup sounds a tad bright. Before I start upgrading my MSB with P1000 +/or Nelson +/or upsampling, I wonder if my transport could be the cause. I am currently using the digital output of a NAD 512 CD player. I play only redbook CD's.(My cable is Bolder RCA coax.) Does any one have any recommendations for a transport for under $200?
