Transcendent Sound phono preamp

Have any of you made or heard this phono preamp? I'd like to know how it compares with a Hagerman Cornet, in particular. I'm now parts-upgrading a Cornet, but the Transcendent has higher gain and might be usable with my .4 mV MC cartridge without a transformer. Let me also throw out an upgrade idea that has worked beautifully for me: replace the 47K ohms input load resistors with TX2352 Vishays from Texas Components Corporation. I've gotten a HUGE improvement in a Hagerman Trumpet and a Wright Sound AG Phono by doing this, and want to tell the audio world.
