tranformer re-wiring or looking for lk-150 output

I have a classic Scott lk-150 with an output transformer that was diagnosed as bad.

Don't know it for sure, It was playing fine though both sides equally and they there would be a static thump sound though both sides. turn it off and let it sit for a day or two and it played fine again for a day or two. I figured it was the power or rectifier caps(all original). so I pulled it out of the system and sat it till I could find someone to work on it.

I was thinking of contacting Doc Hoyer about having it rewired.

How close does a rewire sound to the original? Would it be better to get them both rewound?

What are the chances that someone here has an TRA-15-2 transformer that is 100% and willing to part with it for a reasonable price?
