tonearms & cartridge compliance

If one has a choice of two tone arms of equal quality: One is best suited to use with a high compliance cartridge, the other to use with medium compliance cartridges, which is the better one to "go with" ?

I agree with Sidssp. High compliance carts pretty much limits you to the few remaining Shures, Grado Prestige, and Ortofon mag carts. Medium compliance gets you all those wonderful high-output MCs, some mag carts and many LOMCs as well.
