Tonearm DIN question

I have a vintage Pioneer PL41 that has a large DIN connector on the bottom. Is there a DIN reducer so I can use say an Audioquest ( that I have ) interconnect which has a smaller DIN. Or is there a good way to adapt the smaller DIN to this arm?

If you're not concerned about the authenticity of the turntable, why don't you convert the connector to a standard male DIN.

Michael Percy likely sells the part.

If authenticity is a concern, hang onto the connector and restore it at such time that you sell it.

Better yet would be to get an unterminated cable, and hard-wire it into the turntable.

Hi Nsgarch,

I was visualizing a 'table which had flying leads leaving the tonearm which were then terminated into this DIN connector.

If indeed the real(?) DIN connector mates into the tonearm, then yes, it makes a whole lot more sense to terminate the tonearm cable to match makes it - assuming the availability of the connector of course.
