I have been searching for the title and or artist of a song that got some air time back in the early 70's.  I can recall the following lyrics.

"i'm leaving the city, I'm leaving the city, I'm leaving the city behind."

Can anyone recall?

not canned heat.  it was kind of a soft rock pop song, and for the life of me cannot remember anything more then the lyrics i posted.  Sure it was a more obscure artist, probably a one hit broadcast kind of group.
