Tip for "randomizing" a playlist.

Hello all, We are opening a small retail bakery and of course it has to have awesome sound. My "Button Bakery Big List" has almost 1,100 carefully selected tracks and it's been fun putting it together for the last few months. Playing this Qobuz list on 'random' shuffle mode is terrible!  The same songs are always front loaded.
A good hack is to sort the list alphabetically by track. While exactly unrandom, it plays as much more random sounding. Through Roon, it's always easy to resume where we left off so the entire list gets played over days.

To legally play music in your bakery, you can use services like Soundtrack Your Brand (Spotify for Business), Pandora for Business, or Cloudcover Music, which offer licensed music streaming for businesses, or consider services like Rockbot or Jukeboxy, which provide curated playlists and music management tools.

just a heads up so you don’t get fined by a ASCAP agent.

@gkelly You're assuming that I won't be buying a license from ASCAP, etc. For our business with no seating that's not too expensive.

I was assuming that when you said you were using Qobuz that you were unaware of ASCAP. Pretty much why those agents are running around. People have no clue of their existence, I’m glad that you won’t have to experience. Keep the bagels coming
