Tidal’s Apps - Smart Phones and Desktop - very good

So lots of discussion of the sound quality of streaming services some prefer one of the other, one size does not fit all and that’s fine.

I recently got a Node 2i. I like it although I am not Currently using the internal Dac.

I have heard so much about the BluOS controller and software I was kind of ready to use Tidal exclusively through BluOS. Well... not quite at least not yet. It’s good but not great without getting into specifics.

My point is Tidal’s interface is really good IMHO and seems to getting consistently better.
I suppose metadata and artist information sometimes is a little lacking with Tidal other than that it works great and is intuitive. Could be I am just used to it.

If Tidal’s software included access to your own local music It would really be a slam dunk for me.

Yes BluOS does this and it is certainly one of its strong points. Hopefully BluOS will keep on evolving as I suspect it will. For now I most likely will bounce back and forth between the two interfaces.

Roon is the another option however I haven’t tried it yet. The price is a bit too steep for me.
