Thoughts on Hegel's D50 DAC?

Has anyone tried Hegel’s new D50 DAC? If so, how do you feel it compares sonically with other DACs in its price range or above (say, Hugo TT, Denafrips Terminator II, Berkeley’s Alpha Series 3)?

Is a chain (brick and mortar and online) in Colorado that sells Hegel and offers a return policy. I bought my H390 from them. You could get the DAC, try it for yourself and send it back if you didn’t like it.
