Thanks for the input and the email I received. With the Thiels I had there was never a driver problem, but if I do end up with a used pair their past will be a bit of an unknown.
Thoughts/experience with used Thiel speakers
I had owned Thiel 1.2, 1.5 and 6 in the past. I am now in the market for a smaller set for a 2nd system. I believe Thiel is out of business. My question is: what can a person do with a set of used Thiels if they need a replacement driver or other service? Thanks
