I was able to get a Linn Felt mat for thicker records from a Linn dealer.Good quality mat but expensive.I do use D.J mats as well of acrylic material and they are quite neutral and seem o.k as well.
Thinner Rega Felt Mat for 180-200g Vinyl?
Does anyone know of a thinner felt mat similar to the stock Rega mat that I could use for thicker 180g and 200g pressings so the VTA ends up being about right?
I'm using a stock Rega P5 with the Rega Exact cartridge.
I appreciate any input but don't want to get into a discussion on non-felt mats. I've tried several and am happiest with the Rega felt mats - just looking for something not quite as thick for use with the thicker vinyl records.
