Thiel Owners

Hello, I’m looking for some advice and this looks like the place. I have a jolida jd 202 brc. I’m looking at thiel 1.5 speakers. What do you think? 

I will take a look at the other sites. Thank you! I’m currently using JM labs/Focal chorus 706s, schitt modi multi bit, audioquest type 4 speaker cable, audioquest cinnamon usb cable, Kimber pbj interconnects, all running with MacBook Pro. I’m also looking at focal cobalt 816s. 

Jafant, thanks for your help. I found a article in soundstage August 1999 about Thiel 1.5 running on a  Jolida sj202a. A older version of my amp. Said it did a fine job. I will just keep my eye out for some 1.5 some will pop up. If anyone has that amp and have different speakers please let me know. Thanks 

I just purchased a pair of cs2’s in black. Now the hard part. The waiting till they get here. 

Hello to all, great write up Tom!  Well my speakers arrived on Wednesday. The piano black finish is fantastic! However my left speakers midrange is not working. I will contact Rob at coherent source service and see if there’s anything They can do.
Not sure if I will keep or return if I can not get a new midrange speaker for it. Maybe look for some 1.5s.
