Thiel CS 2.2 vs PSB Stratus Silver i
I have a chance to pick up one or the other semi-locally for aboutthe same price. This is for a second system in a mid size roomthat is acoustically fairly dead. My listening position is only about7' away with the speakers at least 4' from any walls. I can spacethem anywhere from 6' to 9' apart.
Final amplification with be provided by a very healthy Classe Audiomodel "Twenty Five" in stereo mode.
The reason I zeroed in on the PSBs is because I have a set of PSBStratus Mini (late production) in my arsenal of speakers. I have alwaysbeen impressed by what comes out those little PSBs on proper stands.
I would have also considered Vandersteen, but the width is a problembecause whatever speaker pair I choose, when not in use they need tofit into a 13 1/2" wide space when not in use. (Long story) This is howI've been using the Stratus Mini speakers. Any thoughts?
