It took me a couple plays to warm up to this one...not quite the masterpiece of "High Violet" but ho hum, another great National LP. As Slaw noted, very good sonics. They are also very good live...
The National
This makes the fifth National lp I own. I have to say I wasn't expecting to be impressed. After 2 listens, it is quickly becoming my favorite. Aside from this, for a National lp, it is IMO somewhat upbeat. Overall it seems to be their most polished and accomplished effort thus far. I think it's sonically superior to their last 4AD album, High Violet.
