The latest burning vinyl to cds Is dsd improved

I know the korg mr1000 does record at higher resolution- dsd. But have there been any upgrades from the original korg that was only capable of I believe 7(Not sure if it was 7 ?) hours of playback in dsd format only because when transfered to a Pc there is no way of playing it back in dsd format and must be dropped to cd resolution in order to be played, or brought back to the Korg mr1000 to enjoy the dsd format.
I am hoping to find a recorder that will justify applying all that time and effort to get it right when using a high resolution format such as vinyl. Dsd most likely is the way to go, but not if it can't be enjoyed easily.
Why doesn't Korg sell a DAC that will play back in DSD?
