To educate some who think that Tesla is not a scientist, here an american engineer and researcher explain the Tesla coil and the Tesla tower, because Tesla was one of the first if not the first to recreate lightning and plasma ball... It is only to give an idea of what it is... No tinkerer ever develop ideas on this scale.... This thread speak about electricity , then why not understanding better one of his father with Maxwell....

cindyment The thread was already derailed when i entered into it and correcting a point about Tesla,and the fact that the "electrical model" is a hypothesis only for sure, ( i even ask yuvi to end cluttering the thread) not an accepted one but a fringe hypothesis is one thing and saying that Tesla is not a scientist, which he was, studying 3 years physics at the university, and calling him falsely, to gain a point in a discussion, a "tinkerer" which he never was is the reason i spoke my mind... Those who will read the thread will see how you said anything to transform this thread in a joke by not admitting you are wrong about insulting Tesla... This thread is written .... Anybody can verify the way you transform it ALSO in a circus by volontary ignorance... You know perfectly well that Tesla was not a tinkerer if not you are an idiot.... Tesla was a scientist save for those ignorant of history..... He lost the Nobel prize attributed wrongly to Marconi with 17 patents of Tesla, heavily back by Edison money.... This is the truth.... He was recognized after his death only the creator of radio by a tribunal .... Sorry but truth matter...save for idiots.... By the way for those who dont understand history there was no engineer in electricity in the modern meaning of the world at the time where Tesla was studying physics and no need for them in crowd , electricity was a physicist domain mostly more than an engineereing matter at these times GUESS WHY?...Nobody needs an electrical engineer in most city of the world... The man who created the electrical industrial age of electricity being Tesla.... Only tinkerer like Edison touch it or physicist like Steinmetz or Tesla....

You are not even able to think rationally... AKA reacting rationnally to an argument....Your goal is making a point not truth, because you already own truth....Your behavior was the same with others in a thread about Russia and Us defense.... Who decide that what i posted about Tesla is a fraud? You? You are the sole arbiter of what is true? If someone read all your post about Tesla his conclusion will be that you are a clown OR of very bad faith... In the beginning i cited for a fact the eidetic memory ability of tesla, you deny them and never recognized to be wrong about this FACT... Even after i proved to you with FACT that eeidetic memory exist and some peoiple are able to draw cities from the air after a first sight and WITHOUT ERROR... The only arguments you come with to diminish and slander a great man were ridiculous: someone discover something analogous few time before or he was not alone in the electrical field, or all what is said about him by fringe people made him a fraud.... You are not completely stupid but because i know that you are "relatively intelligent" and if we study your behavior with people i must conclude that you are a contemptuous man with a very limited perspective on things... Myself i say what i think in good faith, i dont mock others and i try to let all perspective to be listen to... saying to people " bye bye" is your method of discussion when you lost argument or patience because of being pointing wrong, because you consider they are stupid? NO because you are always right for sure....Almost all people are stupid for you even before beginning the discussion....Save very few... By the way i was speaking about a revolution in biology not about new technologies..vaxx technology are easy today ask Gates...Do you take sharks are geniuses? Friston ideas are a revolution, not new tech in medecine only or mainly... And you said you have been a Tesla fan... I smile because you denigrate him completely with falsities... I just say the same thing in my last post... Then we are in the same boat.... What i called an "imaginative context" for mathematization is a "reality" perceived by humans and ONLY described by maths on some aspects.... Friston is a perfect example....He use old mathematics in a totally new way....
But we can describe some qualities with mathematic, like in acoustic for example, but the qualitative experience cannot be exhausted by measures or numbers...

Like i said there is a revolution in neuroscience and biology right now... It is a revolution like physics has known one with quantum mechanics... We cannot understand cosmology WITHOUT understanding what life is first... One of the pionneer is Karl Friston another genius like Tesla... The remark of Einstein about Tesla is an urban legend by the way.... The 2 are geniuses, but very different... An inventor is not a theoretical physicist... You cannot compare the 2... But if you compared Steinmetz, one of the greatest engineer and physicist with 200 hundred inventions, with the 278 of Tesla in the electrical field...
We can say that he is NOT a tinkerer BUT a true scientist on the level of Steinmetz at least... By the way, owning a photographic IMAGINATIVE memory Tesla never draw a blueprint before working on all his machine designs, save for his workers needs...

😁😊 For most people it is Edison... Tesla is ALMOST unknown in US.... Some physicists even call him a "myth"... An exagerated myth by ignorant people... I know i discuss with one 20 years ago, a world publishing one by the way, who say it straight to my face... We became friends and he change his stance very slowly..... Anyway TESLA published NOTHING.... How do you cite a man who publish NOTHING....hor do you evaluate him in universities and physics faculties? The last time someone of his level lived on earth it was perhaps Archimedes... Sometimes myths are lies.... Copernic was a "nut" job for most scientist at his times, compared to the very precise modelling of what man SEE in the sky with Ptolemaic epicycles... It is not so much the accuracy of his model that made him victorious but the changing times... It was the new epoch where modelling apparences like Prolemaic mechanic were no more enough , man look for a new way to look at the sky....A theoretical view...
